You must be running a version of FileMaker® Server that implements XML web publishing, i.e., version 8, 9, 10, or 11. The advanced version is not required.

If you are running the Deployment Assistant for the first time, be sure to enable web publishing.

On the next page, select XML. It is not necessary to enable any other web publishing technology unless you need it for a purpose other than TouchMyData.

Complete the deployment process. If you already have a server running with web publishing enabled, you can enable XML web publishing on the Web Publishing page under the XML tab. Be sure to start web publishing in the toolbar.
